USGA Expansion Approved

November 4th, 2016 by Gladstone Design

Since 1972, the USGA has called Bernards Township, New Jersey home. When the USGA re-opens, the full interior renovation to the Administration Building, and 30,000 sq. ft. addition will offer a state of the art workplace environment. Gladstone Design, Inc. is pleased to be a part of the latest enhancement to this special property that features the nation’s oldest sports museum.

In addition to providing design services and securing State and local approvals for the Administration Building addition, Gladstone Design, Inc. was intricately involved in the re-alignment of the grounds entrance; overall site circulation, parking additions and improvements and ADA accessible routes to the various site buildings. Additional site design elements include a new 7000 GPD septic disposal system and stormwater infiltration and bio-retention basins that meet or exceed current New Jersey standards that fit seamlessly into the grounds. An overall landscaping plan was developed that includes the planting of over 200 trees along with site lighting enhancements. When completed, the site additions, renovations and improvements will afford visitors and staff alike a unique visual experience that complements a unique property.
