The Route 206 Sanitary Sewer Pumping Station was built to meet the sewage needs of the southern part of Hillsborough Township. The facility was designed to serve existing and planned developments, including 275 residential units, one million square feet of office and commercial space, and a future hotel. The Hillsborough Municipal Utilities Authority owns and operates the pumping station.
